U.S. Bertrand developed a lightweight multi-function notebook wireless antenna module

A team of scientists from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom has developed a versatile notebook antenna assembly that integrates Wi-Fi, Bluetooth wireless, GPS functionality, and 3G/4G LTE signal reception in one antenna. The connection between the screen and the keyboard allows the thin and light notebooks to gain powerful wireless connectivity and provide longer battery life.

The problem with traditional antenna hardware is that a single-function antenna element cannot usually be mounted next to it. Otherwise, there will be problems of mutual interference, significant signal attenuation, or hardware performance. Especially in the light and thin notebooks of the all-metal body, only the connection of the screen and the body connection (Hinge) is left to the position of the antenna element, so such models can only achieve very limited wireless connection functions (usually only supporting Wi-Fi and 3G/4G LTE connectivity).

This new multi-function antenna accessory will be commercialized by the company's Smart Antenna Technology, abbreviated as SAT. The SAT multi-function antenna hardware can not only provide most of the wireless functions of high-end notebooks, but also can communicate with Wi-Fi and 3G/. The 4G antenna submodules work together to obtain MIMO wireless connectivity and increase the download rate on a large scale. This antenna accessory can replace at least 5 individual antenna modules of a conventional notebook while greatly simplifying the assembly process and providing longer energy efficiency and longer battery life. SAT is currently in mass production negotiations with Sony and is expected to start production.

Protective Fitting is used to reduce aeolian vibration of wires and ground wires in overhead power lines or for grading or shielding in power lines no less than 330KV and of insulator strings at substations which may involve dampers, spacers, grading and shielding ring, etc.

Conductor can be enwound by aluminum tapes as installing dampers and spacers onto it.
