Jilin representative Li Yanqun believes that to fundamentally change the financing difficulties of SMEs, the way out is to build a multi-level credit supply market. Monetary policy has changed from accommodative to stable, and SMEs have to withstand the pressure of rising lending rates. Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the People's Bank of China, expressed his position to encourage commercial banks to take more care of SMEs. Zhou Xiaochuan: One of the main things we do is to make our credit system more include the number of SMEs. Nowadays, basically all SMEs with loan history records have been included in the credit information system. SMEs are the basic force for promoting the development of the national economy and promoting social stability. CPPCC member Cai Jiming and Tianjin representative Wang Aijun hope that the state can give SMEs more preferential tax policies and stimulate the vitality of SMEs. Cai Jiming: The employment of SMEs is equivalent to more than 70% of employment in our entire country. It has alleviated the burden on the state. Therefore, in terms of taxation, the tax burden should be greatly reduced. SMEs, especially technology-based SMEs, are the most active innovations in technological progress. Hubei representative Yang Zezhu said that in the new round of economic growth cycle, high-tech SMEs have higher expectations for the development environment. Yang Zezhu: Some SME products are very competitive, have high technology content, have a certain market share, and have good corporate integrity. For such enterprises, we must support them and create a good development environment for SMEs. Hebei representative Han Yuchen and Jiangsu representative Zhu Guoping hope that the country will provide strong support in promoting the transformation of SMEs. Zhu Guoping: It is suggested that the government can build a more comprehensive legal and financial service platform for SMEs, and guide the bigger and stronger, while better optimizing the business environment. Every "small action" at the national macro level is related to the "big survival" of small and medium-sized enterprises. Only by making more efforts in policy guidance, credit support, and industrial assistance can the soil for SME growth be more fertile. We expect SMEs to accelerate their development in the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†and at the same time win the status and respect that match the contributions of SMEs themselves.
