German wind power market may recover again

Polaris Wind Power News: Many states in the German Federal Government believe that wind power will be the focus of their policies and will give them more room. The German wind power market may recover again.

According to statistics from the German Wind Energy Association, 356 new installed capacity were installed in the first half of the year, and the newly installed capacity was 793MW, an increase of 20% over the same period of last year; the cumulative installed capacity was 21,917 sets, and the cumulative installed capacity was 27.98GW.

2012 German Renewable Energy Act relating to electricity price regulations:

The on-grid starting price for onshore wind energy is expected to increase to 8.93 Euro cents/kWh, and it will decrease by 1.5% annually from 2013 to the baseline on-grid price of 4.87 Euro cents/kWh;

In addition to the initial electricity price, the old wind turbines will be supplemented with an additional subsidy of 0.5 euro cents/kwh (the old wind turbines must be connected to the grid before January 1, 2002);

From 2011 onwards, if the wind turbine meets the technical conditions for access to the Internet, the on-grid tariff will increase by 0.48 euro cents/kwh. This decree ends on January 1, 2014;

In the first 12 years, the initial on-grid tariff for offshore wind turbines will approach 15 euro cents/kWh, and will eventually reach 3.5 euro cents/kWh, and will be developed in the next 8 years up to January 1, 2018. Successfully connected to the network can get 19 euro cents/kwh of the on-grid tariff, which has decreased by 7% year-on-year since 2018. It has finally reached 3.5 euro cents/kwh.
