Methods and steps for pulling out H-shaped steel by hydraulic pile puller

The H-shaped steel extraction plan uses the hydraulic pile puller method. Below are the detailed steps: (1) Construction Layout: After the underground section of the project or the concrete strength of the basement roof has met the design requirements, the sand or soil filling can begin, and the area for removing the H-shaped steel can be prepared. For this project, we plan to use a 25-ton crane to initiate the extraction of the H-shaped steel, along with a Dongyi hydraulic pile puller (model: PM300LS). (2) Construction Process: Site leveling → Installation of hydraulic pile puller → Crane positioning → Steel removal → Grouting (3) Site Preparation: A. Before extracting the H-shaped steel, it’s crucial to clean the top ring beam to ensure that the hydraulic pile puller can be placed vertically, stably, and securely. B. Remove any obstructions from the working surface and ensure the crane's lifting equipment is properly set up. C. Depending on the specific conditions of this project, sufficient operating space and access routes must be maintained. (4) Hydraulic Pile Puller Installation: Position the hydraulic pile puller (model: PM300LS) smoothly on the top ring beam. Use a crane to lift the H-shaped steel lifting frame on both sides of the H-shaped steel to be extracted. (5) Steel Removal: Start the high-pressure oil pump, and simultaneously raise the two pile pullers to extract the beam portion of the H-shaped steel. (6) Grouting: To prevent any adverse effects caused by gaps left after the H-shaped steel is removed on nearby residential buildings and structures, cement grout must be injected into the voids once the H-shaped steel is extracted.
