Fans are widely used in various industrial sectors. Generally speaking, centrifugal fans are suitable for small flow and high pressure, while axial fans are often used for high flow and low pressure.
First, the boiler fan
Boiler ventilators are available in centrifugal or axial flow depending on the boiler's specifications. According to its role, it is divided into boiler ventilator - conveying air to the boiler; boiler induced draft fan - pumping the flue gas inside the boiler.
Second, ventilation and ventilation fan
These fans are generally used for ventilation and heating and ventilation of factories and various buildings. The pressure is not high, but the noise requirements are low. Centrifugal or axial flow fans can be used.
3. Fans for industrial furnaces (iron furnaces, forge furnaces, metallurgical furnaces, etc.)
Such a ventilator requires a relatively high pressure, typically 2940 to 14700 N/m2, which is the range of high pressure centrifugal fans. Due to the high pressure and high peripheral speed of the impeller, the impeller should have sufficient strength when designing.
Fourth, mine ventilation fan
There are two kinds of it: one is the main fan (also called the main fan), which is used to deliver fresh air to the well. The flow rate is large, it is suitable for axial flow, and it is also suitable for centrifugal; the other is local ventilation. The machine (also known as the local fan) is used for the ventilation of the working face of the mine. The flow and pressure are small, and the explosion-proof axial flow fan is often used.
Five, pulverized coal fan
The pulverized coal used to transport the combustion system of the thermal power station boiler is mostly a centrifugal fan. The pulverized coal ventilator can be divided into two types according to the application: one is the storage type pulverized coal ventilator, which blows the pulverized coal in the storage bin from the side to the furnace, and the pulverized coal does not directly pass through the fan, and the ventilator is required. The exhaust pressure is high; the other is a direct-blowing pulverized coal ventilator that directly delivers pulverized coal to the furnace. Because pulverized coal has serious wear on the impeller and body shell, wear-resistant materials should be used.
