Several methods of spraying spray guns in automotive painting:
1. Horizontal spray method. The spray pattern is straight, and the gun is grasped in the right hand. Starting from the upper left side of the operator, the wrench is moved from left to right. When going to a junction distance (distance is controlled by the individual, generally 800~1000mm is appropriate), quickly go back and forth to the left. The joints are generally 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, which can be mastered according to the type of paint. When the area is sprayed, the other side is sprayed sequentially. According to the habit, it can also be carried out from the opposite direction, that is, from the lower right side of the operator.
2. Vertical spraying method. The method is similar to the horizontal spraying method except that the nozzle pattern is busy changed to the horizontal direction, and the spray gun runs back and forth from the upper left or the upper right. You can also go back and forth from the bottom right or bottom left.
3. Vertical and horizontal cross method. The first pass is sprayed vertically in the first pass, and the second pass is sprayed horizontally, and the direction of the pattern is changed every time.
4. Horizontal double law and vertical double method. The spray direction is unchanged. After the first pass, spray it again according to the original method. The above various methods of operation should be randomly selected according to the type of coating.
