Fewer than the Huanghuali furniture, there are those on the furniture!

Similarly, as the bulk of collections, the Ming and Qing Dynasties have a great feature that distinguishes them from porcelain, paintings and calligraphy . It is rare that classical furniture with knowledge is rare and can be said to be rare.

Decisiveness is a major feature of classical furniture, but it cannot be said that there is no item with the title. Through a small amount of research on Ming and Qing Dynasties' furniture, we found that the knowledge on furniture in the Ming and Qing Dynasties can be roughly divided into three categories: one is the Jubilee, the other is the purchase money, and the third is the knowledge.

The first type is the year of the year , which is the record of completion of craftsmen or workshops. This type of embossing often shows the name of the painter. Lacquerware is the last process of furniture production. Exporting lacquerware is also a professional process.

The year of the Jubilee was only the age of recording artifacts. There were fewer items of furniture in the Ming Dynasty, and it was learned from Mr. Wang Shizhen’s article that there were lacquered wood furniture with the words “Dongde Xuande Year System” and “Daming Jiajing Year System”. , "Daming Wanli calendar year" and so on.

This type of year ending with the word "made" is a sentence pattern for the typical era, which is commonly found in lacquerware and porcelain. This sentence can also be inserted into the craftsman's name to indicate that it was made by a certain craftsman. Some also use the word "made" to express the same intention. The following noodle case on the hidden surface of the head part of the noodle case, it was found that such knowledge, it is likely that woodcut craftsmen do.

The description of the "self-made" and "made-in-itself" wordings indicates that the furniture was built on their own, reflecting the tradition of craftsmen walking on the street and serving the government.

The second type of inscriptions is procurement records. The purchase money is the place where the artifact was purchased, the purchase process, or the customized cost, location, and so on. Many of these models use the word "set" to indicate the meaning of purchase or compiling. The use of characters such as "positioning", "preparing" or "deafness" , and "doing" also have the same meaning.

The furniture inscriptions in the north often use the word "set", while in the south, many variants of "preparation" and "doing" are commonly used. The types of contexts for these types of payments vary, and may include date, purchase contractor, unit, location, or price, showing more detailed acquisition records.

Some specific words include “records” (records), “calculations” (accounting), “uprights” (initiatives), and “ambitions” (records), and are all signs of the library management or private property. The word "remember" sometimes refers to a firm, which is equivalent to the company's line number.

Looking at the furniture inscriptions, the second category is the bulk, among them the majority of the money.

This is a rubbing on the underside of the panel of the Tieli Alice head case in the Ming Dynasty Chongzhen period. The above is engraved with "Chong Qing Geng Chen Zhong Dong system in the Department of Health . "

Obviously, this is an acquisition made by the owner of the furniture. The title is the ink on the furniture of celebrities such as collectors and connoisseurs. Or record the history of this furniture, or record the emotion and joy of this furniture.

This kind of understanding of furniture, once the hands of celebrities, also ten times the price of sound, become a device and eye-catching and cherish.

In the furniture of the Ming Dynasty, this well-known celebrity device was recorded in the Qingyi Gezao . There are two records. One is

Tianyi Pavilion book case, two feet high two feet three inches, nine inches long feet, two feet six feet eight inches, Wenmu is the heart, pear wood is the edge, the right two India items, the Moulinshan people, the left of India Yuan Zhen Zi Jing.

This book case is the furniture collected by the Ming Dynasty painter and connoisseur Xiang Yuanxiao. Because the case is engraved with the three sides of India, so the name goes down.

In the "Chunyi Pavilion", a piece of furniture is also recorded, which is "Zhou Gong Zuo Zuo"; that is, an armchair. The article records that:

Zhou Gongyi sat with rosewood, three feet two inches high and five feet eight inches in length. He leaned against the board and said: 'If you sit quietly here for two days, if you live for seventy years, it will be one hundred and forty. 'Europe's Winter Weekly Sphere Book. India II: One day, the public princes, one stop gardeners.

This chair was used by the Ming Dynasty calligraphy painter Zhou Tianqiu. Since he carved this five-word quatrain on the back board, this chair became a famous furniture.

The third category of miscellaneous Ming-money includes content from poetry and poetry, commemorative dedication, and down-to-earth warnings.

In the furniture or screen, there are also occasional lengthy poems or commemorative payments, etc. Usually there are signatures and dates of the names. The words "knowledge," "inscription," or "book" are used to indicate that the undersigned is a "writing" person. "Engraved parallel writing" means that the seal and the writer are the same person.

Mr. Wang Shizhen’s family has collected a painting of the Ming Dynasty red sandalwood. It is 192.8 long, 102.5 wide, and 83 centimeters high. On this toothbrush of the painting, there is a piece of knowledge of the Qing dynasty room. He recorded that he was fortunate to receive this case's joyful feelings. He also obtained this painting case, and Xiang Yuanpei's book case and Zhou Tianqiu's chair "can be treasured."

This is the best example of the title furniture in the Qing dynasty. It is now included in Mr. Wang Shizhen’s book entitled “Rewards of Ming-style Furniture”.

Knowledge is an important basis for authenticating the authenticity of a work. Calligraphy, painting, ceramics, etc., have a lot of knowledge, these sections of knowledge for the identification of the age and authenticity of a decisive role. The number of furniture with identification is very small, even if there is knowledge, we must do a lot of examinations, to identify the authenticity.

Therefore, for well-know furniture, it is necessary to combine historical documents, examine its authenticity, and make a comprehensive analysis based on the time modeling, decoration, crafts, and wood of furniture in order to obtain correct conclusions.
