Honda recently demonstrated its latest version of the Asimo humanoid robot, which may replace bartenders in the future. This kind of robot has higher intelligence, can recognize more people's faces and sounds, and can also run back, go up and down stairs, open bottles and pour wine.
The new Asimo stands up to about 1.3 meters tall, and its "gentle hand" holds the paper cup and pours it into a liquid beverage without squashing it.
At full speed, Asimo can reach speeds of up to 9 kilometers. It also predicts the actions a person will turn to and immediately reacts to staggered to avoid collisions.
