On June 11, during the Second China (Shanghai) International Labor Protection and Safety Equipment Exhibition held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, two local companies from Lizhuang Town, Huimin County—Lizhuang Town Jinguan Net Equipment Co., Ltd. and Hengmai Nylon Chemical Fibre Products Co., Ltd.—were honored with the title of “2014 China Top 50 Labor Protection Enterprises.†These two firms also ranked among the top two in the construction safety net sector within the list of top 50 companies.
According to reports, labor protection equipment includes a wide range of products such as body protectors (safety helmets, respiratory gear, eye protection devices, protective shoes, gloves, and clothing) as well as fall arrest systems like safety nets, belts, and ropes. Among the top 50 companies, the two Lizhuang-based firms are recognized as the most professional in the field of fall arresters. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the town’s efforts to upgrade and transform its rope industry.
As the first town in Shandong Province dedicated to the rope and net industry, Lizhuang has been focusing on enhancing the competitiveness of its local rope sector. This year, the town has actively promoted the "Four Major Projects"—expanding production scale, improving product quality, strengthening infrastructure, and upgrading the industrial structure. Additionally, it has worked on attracting investment, talent, and technological innovation, while supporting brand development and market expansion. These efforts have led to continuous improvements in the R&D capabilities and market reach of local enterprises.
From January to May this year, the total exports of rope products from Lizhuang Town increased by 20% year-on-year. The town also secured two national patents, launched two new products on the international market, achieved three major technical upgrades, and is currently developing two new products that will incorporate international patent technologies.
On June 13, workers at Golden Delicious were seen loading a batch of construction safety nets destined for export to the United States.
