Zhao Xiaoyong: The application prospect of thin film battery

The "2011 China Clean Power Forum and China International Clean Energy Expo Sub Forum Solar Energy Forum" co-sponsored by the China Electricity Council, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Cologne International Exhibition Co., Ltd. was grandly opened at the Beijing National Convention Center.

Zhao Xiaoyong, a director and deputy general manager of Fujian Lanshi Energy Co., Ltd., elaborated on the opportunities faced by the development of China's solar power generation technology industry and the features of thin-film solar cells and their application issues.

The following is a statement record:

China's solar cells have accounted for 50%-60% of the global market output, causing domestic production and sales abroad. In recent years, with the excellent sales situation, everyone has expanded their production scale. So why are we so strange that the situation was so good last year and why has this year gone awry? In fact, one is inevitable, and the other is because our production capacity continues to expand. This year has reached the stage of oversupply.

In addition, with the maturity of photovoltaic policies in some countries in Europe, including some countries, in order to ensure the continued development of photovoltaics, unlike the previous two years, they may have doubled their installed capacity, including Germany, Spain, Italy, etc., and they have established a stable annual installation policy. . After this kind of situation appeared, led us to fall from the beginning of most of this year's photovoltaic establishment, the following mainly talks about the situation of the thin film battery.

After the market volatility appeared this year, the thin film battery is still struggling at this stage, which is the same as our photovoltaic market. Thin-film batteries must survive in harsh environments. First of all, we must understand the characteristics of thin-film batteries. As thin-film companies must constantly enlarge the characteristics of thin-film batteries in order to win the space for survival.

The following describes the characteristics of thin-film batteries, we may have more thorough understanding of the crystal silicon.

First, the amount of the recovery period is relatively short. During the production period, its maximum energy consumption, its temperature will not exceed 300 degrees, the power consumption will be relatively small, and the energy recovery period will be relatively short, in about a year.

Second, production costs are low. Basically, automated production can be realized on the mainland. Its core parts are all completed during the production process, and it is now possible to achieve large-scale production, so this is also its low cost factor.

Third, thin-film batteries are stable and reliable. Like the Sacramento solar power station in the United States, it was 1992. There are 20 years of good operational discipline, and the average annual attenuation is kept within 1%. In addition, there are two significant functional characteristics of thin-film batteries, one is the high temperature performance, we can reflect the temperature coefficient of amorphous and crystalline silicon, and now can actually do -0.2, crystalline silicon is 0.49, all solar cells are When operating at a standard 25-degree temperature, the temperature and power of the thin-film battery and the crystalline silicon battery will decrease for each degree of increase in temperature. Relatively speaking, the speed of the thin-film battery will decrease slightly.

For thin film batteries to achieve better development, we must use the characteristics of thin film batteries. In fact, we can see that from the two privileged bids, we can see that the requirements of the National Energy Administration for thin film batteries are continuously increasing, and the first tender It is the conversion efficiency within 6%, the second mention of 6.5%. Our thin-film battery industry can only survive and develop in the market only by continuously improving the conversion efficiency and reducing the cost. Therefore, if the company wants to develop, it must first survive.

In addition, we believe that whether it is a thin-film battery manufacturer or a crystalline silicon manufacturer, with the stability of domestic and foreign policies, as China's "Twelfth Five-Year" policy continues to be introduced, there should be a brighter future. Thank you!
