Structural analysis of large steam chamber of giant vulcanizer

Giant vulcanizers are among the largest in the vulcanization family. Some components are complex in structure and require special requirements for pressure vessels. Figure 1 shows a large steam chamber designed according to the customer's needs. Its main function is to withstand a certain internal pressure and the upper and lower surfaces transmit a large clamping force. During work, a tire vulcanization mold is placed between the upper and lower steam chambers, and the upper steam chamber is clamped down to perform layer sealing, and the closed high temperature steam heats the tire mold to achieve the function of the vulcanized tire.

2 and 3 are schematic views showing the structure of the upper and lower steam chambers. The requirements of the size and shape accuracy of the upper and lower steam chambers are high, the rigidity of the parts is poor, the processing technology is poor, and the processing technology is complicated. It is necessary to conduct a special manufacturing process.

The large steam chamber is a new design product. There is no ready-made experience to learn from. It needs to be considered from the welding of the parts to the final stage of machining. Combined with the existing equipment, the design principle and specific design of the large steam chamber are studied. Manufacturing process measures ultimately guarantee the requirements of the drawings.
