Qingdao is China's main graphite producing area

The reporter learned that China's graphite has the largest reserves in the world, the first in production, the first in sales, and the most comprehensive in variety. China's graphite mineral reserves are 2 billion tons, accounting for 72% of the world's total graphite ore reserves, and production accounts for 80% of global production. As one of the three major producing areas of graphite resources in the country, our city accounts for 22% of the national graphite mine reserves, and has formed a number of influential graphite mining, processing, application and technology research and development enterprises. Rare graphite can only sell "cabbage price"

At present, most of the graphite production enterprises in China still focus on the selection of graphite. The industrial chain of graphite deep processing is short, the technological content of deep processing products is low, and the high-tech deep processing graphite products are few. Compared with the graphite industry in developed countries, there is a considerable gap. At present, developed countries have returned to China after deep processing of imported primary graphite products from China. China needs to import about 30 tons of fluorinated graphite every year, and the price per ton is as high as 300,000 US dollars. The high-carbon graphite exported by China is only 5,000 yuan per ton.
