Nexo said that they recently invented two tires that will not be punctured, called Ever Tires and Nexo. The inside of the former is designed with several large holes and is filled with a polymer called Nexell. It is said that Nexell is very good whether it is cushioning effect, elasticity or durability.
Ever Tires can support 5000 miles (about 8048 kilometers). Nexo tires do not have this permanent punch, it fills the company's proprietary material so it does not contain any air, which means it can be mounted directly on the original tires, but only supports 3,100 miles (about 4,998 kilometers).
The two tires, which are said to not be affected by scratches or holes, are now sold on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter. A 20-foot 24-foot Ever Tires starts at $76, and a 4-wheel tire (regardless of size) costs $360. The company expects to start courier sales in January, but the current scope of service is limited to the United States.
However, this tire has large rolling resistance and is not suitable for use in competition. People have to ride more quickly to give more power, about 10%-15% more than normal size tires. But many people say they like the extra resistance when riding, because it will make them consume more energy. In addition, the company does not recommend that people use this tire when riding in the mountains, because their shock absorption effect is not as good as mountain-specific tires.
